Oh ok not sure on 40 size but the hanger 9 80 inch wing span flies like adream my soninlaw had one and he loved it. he sold it a year or two ago got out of the hobbie. i would think the 40 size fly just as nice.

The H-9 is a nice plane. Better scale looks over the GP, except the the GP has a fabric-like covering that looks more like the scale plane. The downside of the GP covering is that repairing damaged covering won't match anything that I know of. Both the H-9 and GP fly at my field, and their owners really like them.
If I didn't already have a 1/5 scale Cub, I'm certain that I would pick up the H-9 Cub. But that's just my preferrence of the two.

Cheers! BH

Kenn, welcome to the addiction! You can't go wrong with either of the Sig planes that you mentioned. Just take it slow and enjoy the ride!
Cheers! BH
