I found your post “beginner’s resources” very helpful especially about the fuel tank I had to redo mine after reading it.
My next purchase is a 4-ch radio for my pt-40 can you do a beginner resources about radios.
Is 2.4G better than 72mz?
If I buy a futaba can I only use futaba Rx, and servos or are they all the same?
FASST or Spectrum, PCM?
Do I need a computer radio, why?
Setup trim, I have a friend with a computer radio and he can set the trim to 150% over is this necessary?
Servo reversing?
How do you use two aileron servos on one Rx ch?
Do different radios transmit farther
Are some more prone to outside interference?
Can you use micro servos on a regular plane?
I bought a evolution .46NT on the RC Universe ad’s and would like to save a little on a radio by doing the same, but they rarely come complete if I buy a futaba Tx. I have no idea were to go or what to buy to get a Rx. or servos that would work with it.
Etc…
It would be very helpful if I understood more about radio equipment before I buy one.

minn and r/c ken could you make a sticky that is full of problems people are having and the link to the thread, maybe alphabitize it
example
title the stickey "everything you ever need to know"
covering ( http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...article_id=726 )
first plane ( http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4537845/tm.htm )
fuel tank problems ( http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...rticle_id=1068 )
and on and on and on
this way people can stop asking the same questions and get their problem solved quicker
also it will make finding the good threads easier and faster (instead of search)
