I accidentally found the use for this when I was desperately trying to set the cg on my f-16. I was having trouble using my fingers to check the cg on this plane. It has worked fine with my larger planes. I needed something to set it on, but can't afford to run and get the great planes cg machine.(which is what I really want) I looked up on my shelf and saw my monster truck work stand and... [sm=idea.gif]! I placed two racquetballs on it at first and set the plane on it till it was balanced. The raquetballs were a little too large to see the spot on the planes fuse, so I found some smaller marble type balls (8-balls), and they worked great. I could see where it lined up on the fuse and measure it. I set the cg and she flew great. The stand also functioned well as a work stand since the plane was small enough that the wings could rest on both posts of each side. It should work well on my 40 size planes if I extend the vertical portion underneath the "goal posts".

Good idea!
Any tri landing gear of a 40 size model may hit the stand when balancing.
