Has anyone ever ordered from AeroCraft before?
http://www.aerocraftrc.com/planepage.php?id=44

I ordered this power package about 2 weeks ago and haven't received it yet or heard from them about cancellation. Should I be worrying yet or do they normally take long delivery times?

Two weeks is a long time for any company, even if they shipped it through the slowest service USPS. I would atleast try to contact them if I were you, and next time ask about a company on here first. It may save you some trouble.

Seems their website downloads as slow as their service

Made me wonder if the web developer started building the page as I clicked on it !!

Hmmm. The motor in the power package says to use a 10 amp ESC http://www.aerocraftrc.com/otherpage.php?id=78 and they include a 6 amp esc in the package. And the motor is barely rated for the predicted max weight of hte aircraft - marginal flight characteristics?

I did not order the ESP that was included in the setup. I upgraded it to a 10amp.

I ordered a couple kits from them a year or so ago. After waiting a week and hearing/receiving nothing, I e-mailed them. They said the kits were out of stock and they were going to make another run soon - thanks for letting me know! Anyways, it took around a month before I got my kits, but they did arrive in good condition. I probably wouldn't buy from them again myself.

The Micro Telemaster kit he linked is a Hobby Lobby kit www.hobby-lobby.com so I don't know why they would be out.

So, can I assume they will not contact me first if they are out of stock on the motor or components, and wait for me to contact them?

I emailed them a couple hours ago and waiting to see if they write me back.
So they will probaby write back saying they are back-ordered, since they don't email to tell you.

P.S: What I don't get is I am in Massachusetts and they are in the next state over (New York) so I can safely say it would not take two weeks to receive it.

The "thanks for letting me know!" comment was meant to be sarcastic. I was displeased that they didn't let me know that the kits were back-ordered on their own initiative. So, yeah I guess they expect you to contact them .

How long after you contacting them did they respond? It has been 24 hours and still no word from them.

They e-mailed me the next day. I think you'll be okay in the long-run, it's just going to take a while most likely - they seem to be the sort who takes their time about things .

This is ridiculous. The worse order I have ever had in history by any online company. I ordered on the 13th of April and STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ORDER [:@]

I did receive an email the beginning of the week telling me the propellors were placed on backorder and they will receive them by the middle of this week. I should have received this order by now with them being in the next state over (I am in Massachusetts, they are in New York)

I am so disastisfied with this company I will NEVER, EVER order from them again.

This is why I don't order from any one but Tower and local hobby shops,to many scamers. They might just run this biz out of the basement.

Many, many businesses are run out of homes. There's nothing wrong with that.

shd, have you tried calling them? If you're upset and want answers, that's the most direct way.
