I thought it would be fun to see the faces behind the names here in the beginners forum. Show a picture or two of yourself. I think it will be fun to see what you imagine someone may look like, and what they actually do look like. I will start it off...

My name is Kevin, and I have been flying for about 1 year. I currently have the 3 planes, and a French Mastiff named Turco that are all pictured.

P.S.- I am not really that happy, and Turco IS smiling.

In the second picture is that you on the left? you guys are best friends I know.
I've been building since back in the 50's so I take up a lot of room.

The field is a 65 acre hay field with an full size airstrip down the center. That building is the hanger. The only problem is they leave those big rolls of hay setting around.

Gene, leaving your planes in the driveway doesn't seem to be the best idea...

I can understand your thinking Joe but living here in the old folks home everything is concrete and looks like a driveway. Lawns have been outlawed for three or four years. This is where most of my plane shots are taken and I have to dodge the fountain. It casts a shadow and tends to splash water on the planes. Our water is so hard the drops would pop holes in the covering. This is my number one place to fly, the El Dorado Dry Lake Bed. Today I was out there all day all by myself, 7 square miles of runway and open sky, all mine!! I also have four or five other fields to fly at but I really like it out there on the lake bed!! Makes it hard to run off the asphalt and even old farts can find the runway!!

Here is my family. Our little guy just turned 1 on the 5th. So when is a good time to start them on the buddy box? Will I have to wait for a year or more?

This is all I got handy. How freakin big is the Corsair in pic two. I never realized it till I stood in gront of it. I can reach up and touch 8'. I can't reach the spinner.
