Default Glow Plug Question

My engines all currently have O.S. glow plugs in them #8, The field box I bought from ebay for $26 was full of goodies, starter, elec fuel pump, power panel, plug wrench, some props, glow plugs etc.

There was a box of 24 Fox standard long glow plugs with washers no idle bar, they say long on them. I assume that means reach, are they safe to use in place of a #8 or A3 ? they come up on the tower substitutions for one or the other I do not remember what one.

Thanks all for the help

Yes they will be fine.

I remember them being the standard of comparison many years ago
