I have flown them both and I think the Diablo wins - especially since they lowered the price.
The Diablo has some available upgrades, but a lot of people have been having problems with them, but in its basic configuration, the Diablo is a great flier. It also comes with a 4-channel radio compared to the Super Cub's 3-channel radio.
If you're interested, here is a review of both:

Mr. TRXRUSTLER, I wish I had more info on your piloting experience because the handling characteristics of these two choices are worlds apart. If you are new to flying R/C aircraft, sadly to say, that pretty Diablo is likely to become an ugly lawn dart where the Super Cub would be much more forgiving of mistakes. If you are an experienced pilot, the Diablo will be great fun (and faster fun). Regardless, on your first flight with any new aircraft my advice is once you get it air borne learn its handling characteristics from the altitude of "Three Mistakes High". Hope you enjoy the hobby. 2 completely different skill level planes from where I am sitting, never flew either one. Ducted fan planes don't have the thrust to get you out of trouble at low speeds even if they are built very light. For forgiveness, choose a plane with a lot of static thrust and a low wing loading.
I get burned every time I try some slick looking combo like that EDF, if Minnflyer says it's a good flyer that is a good endorsement.

Listen carefully: AVOID anything from Flyzone!!! They are all too heavy, underpowered POS's![:@]Do your research on the threads on this plane and any others from Flyzone and see for yourself. The supercub from HZ is much easier to fly has a greater wingspanand is a larger plane thus it is slower and easier to see. You can always upgrade and/or modify the HZ Supercub to do anything you want later down the road.

The plot thickens here........HC, sounds like you're describing the Zagi I bought that was described in the Tower catalogue as an "aerial hotrod". In reality it was an underpowered turd that was barely airworthy for basic flight at 20 feet.

In its original configuration, the Diablo is basically a powered sailplane - very docil and easy to fly.
