Avistar 40 Trainer
#26
I started with an OS46FX in my Avistar, and it performed flawlessly. Started everytime and like it has been said before, you can move it to complete idle and feel confident that it will run well. I am currently moving the 46 from the Avistar to a Magic Extra 300 due to a mid air with a bird. The plane literally exploded, but the engine cleaned up and is ready to go again. I also second the comments about using a trainer only 1 year. Until I hit the bird, I never considered retiring my trainer. There are some days you just want to relax while doing nothing but flying easy. BTW: I have a brand new OS46FX in the box to use on my SE after it is finished.

$99 for a 46fx, thats tooo much for that Engine (must be cos of the make, LOL) I paid $104 for a Thunder Tiger 61 Pro Ball Bearing for my SuperStar 60 Trainer, and it has a lot more power than the fx (cos it's bigger) for only $5 more... now that's a price I like!!
