Default Fuel protected "engine room" on ARF's?

Hi,

I have just bought an ARF from Black Horse, a "Super Air". As this is my first ARF. I wonder is space for the engine,
is that normally fuel protected on ARF's? On this it look like dark blue paint.

Nothing is written in the mnual if I need to cover with something to protect the wood from the fuel. The engine bed is allready mounted.

/Nisse

Brush a little fuel onto a small spot on the paint and see what happens. It might hold up fine. If it doesn't, use some thinned epoxy to coat the wood areas that could come into contact with fuel.
