I'd give Hobby People a call and see if the Airtronics trainer box still exists. I didn't see it on the web site so I'd make a call to get the answer.

Airtronics Trainer Cord

With this trainer cord won't you only need another Airtronics radio TX to hookup to, or does it have to be a trainer box?

he doesn't need the trainer cord. He needs the actual buddy box.

wzak29,
Unfortunately it looks like the dedicated Airtronics buddy boxes are sold out. But if you look around you might find somebody with an Airtronics radio you can use as a buddy box. You can use just about any Airtronics radio all the way back to the Vanguard radios as your buddy box here. Ask around your club and see if anybody there is flying an Airtronics that will help you out.

Found this, maybe you will be lucky enough to win the bid, OR buy it outright for AU $49.95 (US $36.02) . . .

Why can't he use a Futaba transmitter? I thought the only odd ball was JR to everyone else, that has been fixed with the proper training cord

To the best of my knowledge there is no trainer cord that goes from an Airtronics master to a Futaba buddy box.
