Hi everyone,
Ive bought a second hand Super Custom 120 4stroke (couldnt afford new)
Now its not come with instructions and im struggling a little to get a reliable low tick over,it seems that the carb is shut as much as it will let it but its still running higher than tick over!
There is the normal screw in where the throttle arm is,then theres another screw on top of the carb? does this control how much the carb shuts off?
Any answers would be great,or even where i can get the instructions from?
Thanks in advance
Carl

My Feedback: (1)
Looks to me like this engine is available in the UK but not here in the Colonies
I didn't see a manual available, but you may want to go to a local hobby store and see if they have one in stock that you can browse through the manual. Maybe they will let you copy it. But, that would go a long way to help you out.

Super Custom ??? Anyway the screw on top of carb usually has a spring on it to prevent turning from vibration. If this is one I think it is it does 2 things. 1- keeps throttle barrel from falling out. 2- limits amount throttle can close. That's the one you should be able to turn out slight amount to allow throttle to close more. turn it enough so barrel can totally close off carb throat so you can stop engine at end of flight by using trim to close fully. However limit amount of throw using throttle end point adjustment to provide proper idle speed. Do that with throttle trim in neutral then to stop engine trim all the way down.

Super Custom, ASP, and Magnum engines are all made by the Sanye company. From what I have read they share many parts. You can download the Magnum 1.20 manual from the Hobby People web site:
