Hello all !
I need your advice regarding the replace of AR6200 RX after a crash. Is it still reliable ? Is there some way of testing it ? I have the same question about the FMA copilot.
Apparently both of them are still working but I'm not sure about using them on another airplane.
Please keep in mind that in my part of the world the customer support is not as fast or reliable as in yours.
Thank you !

Hook a servo to the AR6200 RX and connect to to a battery pack.
Now move the servo around, while lightly tapping on the case.
Do this with each channel.
If operation remains smooth, in spite of your tapping, and the case shows no damage, you should be fine.

As for the Co-Pilot, I'd remove that set of "training wheels" asap.

the first thing we do at our field is disconect the copilot. It is counter productive as it requires letting go of the controls to allow the plane to right itself. We just DON'T want any "letting the plane go". Also they often contribute to the crash if set incorrectly. At our field they come out before the plane goes up.

Thank you for your advices.
I will check every channel and leave the "training wheels" home.
I wonder also about the compatibility between Spektrum DX6i transmitter and other 2,4 Ghz receivers, produced by Jamara or Futaba.
What do you suggest ? Are they fully compatible or the combination between Spektrum Dx6i transmitter and other brand receivers is reliable ?
Thank you !

spectrum and JR are the same. you can not use a futaba with a spektrum or jr. I am not sure about what aftermarket stuff is on the way (tower hobbies brand hitech etc) but for now they are kind of brand match required.
