I bought an old kit a Cessna ag wagon by kyosho .the kit is nearly completely built and is looking beautiful although it is still bare wood and missing a canopy. I would like to share with you some of the control mechanisms that were deployed in building this kit which I am seeing for the first time. The flaps are attached to the trailing edge of the wing with curved hinges and the control movement is done by a rod pushing perpendicular into the leading edge of the flap. The flaps would roll down in a semi fowler flap fashion. All is hidden, very neat .The ailerons are controlled by a device which has a lip buried in the ailerons leading edge and moves up or down when moving its control rod back inside the wing back and forth horizontally. Total thickness of the device is about 6 or 7 mm. This arrangement makes all movement mechanisms hidden inside the wing. I am not sure if any of these devices are still available in the market as I would certainly be very much interested to use them in future projects. I would also appreciate it if someone could tell me the location of the C.G of this plane. Thanks

Aaerowoof, those horizontal horns of Hobby Lobby are exactly the ones I was talking about .I think they would do a good job while keeping all bits and pieces hidden inside the wing. Thanks for this information.
CGRetireD, I will post pics of the flaps set up very shortly. Thanks
