Well my 4 Star 40 had its maiden flight tonight!!!!
I had one of the other club members take it up for its first flight. He trimmed it out and put it through its paces for a bit. The roll rate was insane because I had the aileron throw set to high. Since I just recently soloed, we brought it in and adjusted the throws.
On the second flight everything was great! I got a chance to try my hand at the sticks and fly the pattern for a bit. The bugs were getting really bad because of the wind dying off in the evening. We brought it in and cleaned up for the night. All in all, everything went as well as I could ask for.
BTW, here is a picture of the beast. I have since replaced the red spinner with an aluminum one. It looks a lot better!

Hey guys, Thanks for the compliments.
It's the greatest feeling in the world seeing a plane that you built with your own two hands take to the sky. Definatly can't wait for the next one to come off the building board.
But it probably won't be in the air until next year.

Nice and Congrats.
