Default good combo?

Hey I'm just wondering if this is a good combo. dazzler combo now i think everything but the TX is good. The TX is a Tower hobbies brand. Look pretty cheap and the the TX for my superstar is WAY BETTER. The Towerhobbie TX has no voltage meter and just looks like a piece of junk. So should i skip the deal and get everything separately?

Default good combo?

Short answer is : Yup.

Longer answer, there are several things in that combo I wouldn't bother with. Your #1 concern is the radio. I'd also go for the OS 46FX instead of the 40, or even the TT pro 46.
Things like foam, fuel tubing and glue, you might already have if you've done any modeling. 6 minute epoxy you don't need, use 30 minute on everything. That one TF wood prop will last you 5 mins, that's after you've spent an hour trying to balance it. Get a couple of APC's instead. Last but not least, I'd get an OS #8 plug instead of the TH one.... I think that covers it.
You could try building your own combo and see if they give you any savings...

For my money
get the plane if it's any good i cant coment as i've never seen or talked to any one who has one.

For radio go for
Hitec laser4 or flash4 combo from some one like servocity

engines in a 40 i like the TT42 or go for the TT46 or GMS47

plugs i lke the OS#A3

CA handibond
epoxy 30 min is plenty quick enough
