Steve;

Please don't let a few bad apples ruin things. As a beginner with very limited time, I am more aware than most that instructors also have limitations on their time. I make myself available when they have the time and inclination; and I'm very grateful for their help. Time is a funny thing. We all have 24 hours in a day; we all have a limited amount of time on this earth; and none of us can make more. Time is my most valued asset; and I don't like to waste it. I assume the same is true of any instructor or mentor who is gracious enough to help me.

What you do is valuable. Beginner pilots depend on people like you to help them learn; whether that learning is flying, building or just simple advice. I appreciate people like you; and I'm very sure I'm not alone in that respect. Thanks; Ernie P.
