I know this has probably been answered a 100 times, BUT, I can't seem to locate it. I want to set up my DX-7 with a throttle cut. How do I do it. It is easy on my Futaba 7CAP. If you want just tell me to go fly a kite. I also don't see anything in the manual about programming this feature.

I guess I am not very good using search. Really don't know what to type for the search. Yes it does help, at least I know it was covered.

Had to go search for a minute but thought I'd tease you first. HEHE.

Well when we get older, our memory starts to fade or wane. I think mine went out. I have had my DX-7 for almost 2 years and have never used it until I flew a vapor bind and fly with it a few months ago. I now have it installed in my 1/4 scale cub with a gas 26. I really appreciate your help again as usual.

Page 37 of your DX-7 manual explains "Throttle Recovery".
When you set up your throttle trim, allow enough down throttle trim to kill the engine.
Then, when flying, holding down the throttle trim switch will run the throttle servo all the way closed.
When ready to restart your plane, click the throtttle trim up once, and the servo will be set to your idle position.
Basically, this is the operation they use for throttle cut.
Works for me.

Hope this helps.
