Default PTS Mustang question

Iknow that the product manual says that a "clean" PTSmustang is an all-out aerobatic warbird. I was just wondering how close totrue that is. I know it's not scale, and that the wing loading is fairly light, even with thedroopsremoved, so how far removed from flying say a 40 sized yak or extra is it?

It basically aa quick sport model with all the stuff off and a 10*6 prop. Handles just lake an ultra sport.

Nothing handles just like an Ultra Sport - except another Ultra Sport

Without all of the hoopla, the Mustang PTS is a very nice intermediate plane.

That is a spot on description!

However you are trying to equate it to a 3D YAK which is in a completely different catagory.

A clean PTS equipped with the right prop is a fairly impressive sports flyer, considering the range of flight characteristics it is capable of.

But a sports flyer is not a 3D plane.

I was thinking more along the lines of an extra 300 setup for sports flying. I've had a thing for the extra 300 since my first time spectating at a flying field, which was back when 3D was for movies and video games. I wouldn't think the control surfaces on PTS mustang would be large enough for 3D manuevers...</p>
