Default hanger 9 Cherokee covering?

Anyone know what kind of covering is used on this ARF?

I picked one up thats pretty beat and I'd like to recover.

It has a flat finish as opposed to the Monocot I usually use.

I'm also hoping to match the blue cowling...

Thanks

Steve

If it's H-9, it's Ultracote

If it's a Horizon product it's going to be covered in UltraCoat

You'll love it, super easy to use. Heat gun works wonders on Ultracote/Oracover.

ORIGINAL: MinnFlyer

Actually, that may not be the case with this Cherokee. I was looking at one at the LHS not too long ago and it appears to be that pre-printed shelf paper type stuff rather than Ultracote. I believe the Cherokee is part of their "value series" same as the Super Stick. I know the super Stick isn't Ultracote.

If it were mine, I'd just recover it in Ultracote or Monokote and re-paint the cowl to match the new scheme.

Yep, pre-printed PVC: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=HAN1900

I wouldn't sweat it. Just get some real covering like Ultra on Mono.

Yes thats the plane! I see they sell the pre-painted covering for replacement but I agree, I'll just go with one of the other coverings.

I dont really care for the printed lines on the covering.

Thanks

Steve
