Hello,
I need new pushrods for my Avistar. What would be the best pushrods (diameter, length, etc)?
I would love to use some carbon fiber ones but because of the nylon pushrods tubes, I will have to stay with the aluminum ones (unless there is a way to install carbon fiber pushrods).

My opinion...carbon fiber on the avistar is a waste of money. The control surfaces arent large enough to put that much pressure on the rod/servo. I had an avistar and loved it.... very aerobatic for a trainer type plane. Put a good OS 46 ax or Super tiger 45 on it and you'll have fun if you're at that level. Save the CF for the next plane.

Ok, so no CF pushrods in my Avistar...but still I need to know the diameter of the aluminum pushrods that I should install in my airplane.
Thx.

You could outfit your Avistar with CF pushrods for not too much money.
You can get the CF pushrod ends [link=http://www.connectorsrc.com]HERE[/link]
And you can get a good deal on Carbon tube [link=http://www.kitebuilder.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/33_56_58?osCsid=0255027001432d53560f67fba270b946]HERE[/link]
