Default mousse can question.

So I was going to post this in an engine forum, but we dont seem to have one. If there is a better place for it please let me know!

I saw these cool new beer cans, shaped like a bottle and thought that would make a neat "mouse can" muffler! The neck is far smaller than the original mouse can, so connecting should be easier I think, but the bottle shape is a bit wider ,and probably longer so I wondered if it would work right. The weight shouldn't be a factor as they are VERY light, and thin walled .

The idea is to put it on my SPADSTICK that currently sports an OS .46LA. However, the reasoning is I want to try and squeeze a little more power out without changing fuel, will it work? will it LOOSE power? (If no power change I might do it anyway for the novelty. A SPAD with a beer can on the side LOL!!)

There, you could post a link to this thread.

There are other RC besides aircraft. Cars, boats, as well as aircraft. They all use engines.

A guy at our field used an aluminum Bud Light bottle shaped can as a muffler on his 25 fx that powered his combat spad. It was pretty cool.

well Terry, we will have to drink a few and try it, he hehe. I prefer glass bottle though.

OMG, I just realized, I only have a week before I leave, I was thinking I had 12 days. I had better get with it!
