Not sure if this is the correct place for this post, but here goes. After dinging up my 4* 60 I need to replace some of the fuselage sides and make a new firewall. My questions are as follows: is there any up/down or right thrust built into plane? Is it ok to epoxy in the new firewall without the interlocking section? I plan to reinforce with tri-stock. Thanks for any advice.

Yeah, there is some thrust angle, sometimes it's built into the firewall, sometimes not. If you build it square, you can always add a washer on the top and bottom mount bolts (where the engine mount bolts to the firewall) to provide some space on the left side (which will give you some right thrust) Often, a single washer on each side will be adequate.
I'm sure someone will have more to add to this..

Is this an ARF or kit 4-Star 60? If it is a kit then just take a look at the plans. I've never built the 60 size but the 40 has downthrust if I remember right? It has been a while.
You might ask over in the kt building forum, I'm sure someone is working on one or has plans to look at.
You can definitely just epoxy in a new firewall without the interlocking tabs and use some tri-stock. You can also pin it with some hardwood dowels and it will be very, very secure.
However you set up the engine thrust you can always adjust it after flying like CGretired mentioned.

The plans call for zero side thrust and 2 degrees down thrust. The wing incidence should be +1/2 degree, the horziontal Stablizer is zero degrees.
Tri stock re-enforcement of the firewall is good. I've got a 1/3 scale with a G62 gas engine and that is all that holds the fire wall in it. You can pin the sides to the firewall by drilling and epoxying round tooth picks for some extra strength though.
