Had my first crash yesterday although its not the planes' first but this was less dramatic but more damage.
First time it crashed my instructor landed it in a tree (no damage). The field I was flying at was a polo field that had a line of wooden boards running the whole way round it. What happened was i brought it into land but where i was standing I couldn't see the board and the plane was lower than i thought :stupid: . The plane went straight into the board at a good speed with a very loud thunk. Damage done, firewall knocked back, engine ripped screws out of the engine mount, propellor ripped into the fuselage about 3 inches and general cracking around the wing tips. A few hours later i was back in the air after epoxying the broken bits back together and replacing the engine mount, and I didnt even need to change the prop or the spinner. I didnt even get a pic of it
Moral of the story, dont let a crash get you down and bring plenty of spares and epoxy, and a camera to show everyone of your stupidity.

I had a weird accident, and end up with 2 wing, the engine fall off, etc, etc, on Saturday. After an afternoon of epoxy, ca, and grooming, it was flying on Sunday, like new.
