This weekend I got in several landings, the fisrt one I flew it in, and proped the deck. the next 6 where perfect. Its such a great feeling watching your plane come around for final, the slowly sinking in to the runway and rolling out.

Oh yeah. Now keep working on that, but at some point, really focus on what the plane is doing in those final seconds before actually touching down. Watch your input as you add elevator to bleed off airspeed just prior to touch down and watch the nose come up. You will learn a lot by this in that you will begin to see just how much you need to get the job done.. then you will begin to make smoother and more graceful landings as you see what is going on.

Good stuff!! AND, Congrats!!

Way to go!! Sweet feeling isn`t it? I`ve been flying for a little over 5 years and still get a great feeling of satisfaction when I grease one in. If you move into scale or sport scale, particularly warbirds with wing mounted landing gear, you`ll soon learn that you land them with the throttle, adding elevator only in the last foot to 18" or so before touchdown. If you practice landing that way now, it`ll pay dividends down the road.
