If not, then take a look at RCKen's thread: Looking for a trainer, what's available. (Updated 01-03-2009) located at the top of the Beginners Forum.
You can pretty much pick and choose a trainer from the list and be confident that they will give you good service and train you in RC flying. And, what most of us will tell you, don't do it alone. Get someone to help you with the assembly (if arf or rtf) or build (if kit) then work with an instructor with a "buddy box" to help you along.
And, if you want, a good RC Flight Simulator does wonders for some of the basic stuff (no substitute for an instructor and actual flying, but a great way to get some of the basics down). FMS, Great Planes Real Flight, and AeroFlight Professional are but three of the better ones.
All this costs money, I might add, be prepared to spend a few bucks to get going with this hobby. No two ways around it. You will need the basics, aircraft, radio, servos, plus fuel, starter, glow driver, basic tools, and so on, to get going if you choose Glow. If you choose electric, well, the basics are again, aircraft and radio, but the aircraft will need other equipment.
Don't be afraid to ask. We're here to help.
Welcome to the hobby!!
CGr.
