Default speed controllers

What is the difference between the GWS ICS-GS100 vs ICS-100 speed controllers? Will the GS100 work for the GWS DHC-2 Beaver plane?

Thanks.....

Functionally they are no different.

You get at most 8A momentary output from that ESC, so assuming 9.6 volt packs...

9.6v x 8A = 76.8 watts.

Assuming you would want 100-110 watts per pound on that plane, the maximum weight of the plane should be four fifths of a pound.

I think, but not sure, the GS has a "brake" feature. Can't speak on suitability issue.

Correct, that's about the only difference.

Is there any benefit, or detriment, to the brake?
