I have a Hitec Eclipse 7 that I use as my primary radio. I inherited a Futaba FP-T6FG AM radio from my father-in-law when he passed away. I'd like to get my son flying my PT-40 instead of the simulator. Anyone know if there would be compatibility issues with using the Futaba box as the buddy box, and my Hitec as the primary? Also, any suggestions on where to find a trainer cord? The Hitec is a six pin and the Futaba is a five pin.
Thanks in advance!

Just found this;

Anyone ever actually successfully completed and used a cord based on this info? I assume the standard take the battery/crystal out of the slave applies if this were to work?
