you know what I love about flying RC, everytime you get a little cocky reality likes to jump up and slap you in the face. today was a good example of that. I was flying my cub, after a few flights of just putting around,I decided to do some touch and goes. after a few really nice long rolling ones, I wanted to try a 1 wheel touch and go. my first attempt was not to bad, but I only touched down for a second before pulling out. so around I go again this time I kinda bounced it so I powered up and went around again. I decided that I was trying to fly to slow, thats why I was bouncing it, so I came in under power. I set up my approach and dipped a wing countering with a little rudder, it looked so smooth as one wheel touched down. unfortunatley thats where things went wrong. it had rolled for about 10 feet when it balloned and then hit the wing tip on the runway resulting in a pretty violent cartwheel. it's repairable but I don't think I'll have it ready for my clubs Cub fun fly in a few weeks. on well...

Hi sportrider_fz6
Cubs sure are a fun plane to fly. Do it wrong and they will bite you. My current cub is a 71" wing span SPAD with an OS 46FX engine and a 12X4 APC prop. Early on it snapped rolled on me on take-off, cart-wheeled, and ended up-side-down. Being made of Coroplast there was no damage except the prop. Coroplast is a tough material. Most people believe it is a standard kit or ARF plane.

Ive got a 80" great planes love the little thing last weekend I was goofing around flying really slow had no wind at all looked really cool and then it happend it snapped and into a flat spin that was unrecoverable! The good thing was it only happend about 20' in the air and it came down in some pairie grass about 3' tall the only thing it done was break the prop!
