Default Question about indoor planes

right now Im building a Hobbico avistar kit and I just got in trade a brand new in box nexstar select 46 and i want to get something to fly indoor. i went to my hobby shop and they had many little indoor Foam RC's even this New Mustang p-51. I cannt remember for the life of me who made the plane. They are small foam indoor planes. What is a good site to order one.

If you go out to http://www.parkzone.com and click on the plane you want, they have a where to buy link where you put in your zip and they bring up LHS's to buy. Also Horizon Hobby is a great place to buy BNF stuff from ParkZone. I just purchased a Spektrum DX5e to fly the small BNF foamies from PZ from Horizon for $68 with the shipping.

Did you take a look at Tower Hobbies? They often have some pretty good sales and offers for some reasonable prices.

I had drafted a reply earlier but didn't send it. The phone rang and I got distracted. Anyway, what I would suggest, for indoor flying, is a good, foam, either biplane like an Ultrafly Furious, or a good low wing foamie like the Charger. Both are pictured below.

Whatever you decide on, for indoors, slow and low is the key. Good control at low speeds is the way to go.

FP,
By all means, support your local hobby shop whenever you can.
He is the guy there on Saturday afternoon when you realize you need something
to finish that special project for tomorrow's fun fly.
If he is better than or near the online price, jump at the chance to keep him in business.
Often they are able to get you stuff at the same price as Tower and the others.
Yes, you will probably have to pay the sales tax but they stay in your community also.
Everyone wins.
I don't have a LHS and have to do everything online and it is a big PITA,
especially when you need one small item.
Good Luck,

If you use the find where to buy applet, the prices usually are a lot lower than the PZ website.

I do like to support my LHS, however, last Tx I bought from mine was a Futaba 4YF4 Skysport. I paid $180 for it, the next week I saw it for sale at Tower for $80 plus shipping. The DX5e I just bought for $68 with shipping from Horizon my LHS has for sale for $130...just insane. I'm all for supporting the LHS, but with markups like that, I will only buy things that I need immediately from my LHS that I cannot wait for in a mail order. I understand supporting the LHS business, but cripes, I also need to watch my bottom line.

The LHS price is for the micro Mustang RTF and the Parkzone price you quoted is for the older full size Mustang RTF.

FP,
I fully understand. My closest hobby shop is 40 minutes away
and he is mostly cars.
The others are over an hour and over two mountains - not a fun easy trip.
Yes, I do a lot of mailorder.
Sometimes members in the club combine orders into one, especially from China.
Good Luck,
