Hey Guys,
I am wondering what everybody would recomend for a second plane. I want something stable but capable of setting the sky on fire. I was thinking of the Great Planes Ultra Sport .40
What do you guys think?

I would hold off on an Ultra Sport for more like a 3d type plane. Most sport planes are fast and sensitive but a good 2nd plane can be slowed down to a crawl without stalling. Try this with an Ultra Sport and it will stall and go down. I would go for a Goldberg Tiger2. You can get it in kit form or as an ARF. Great flyer, plenty aerobatic and has a tremendous speed range. Its also a bit larger than most other 2nd type planes which makes it easier to keep track of in the sky.
