my first time!
nov. 15 a day to remember,
I took my gloweasyfly-40 to the field and got help and alot of instruction from members at the field here in florida.It was a blue sky day with 5mph wind.love it!
I was hooked up to a buddy box and flew a tank out of her,the guy who helped me really enjoyed seeing what I call the fear look I gave him when he pushed the trainer button and said there you go you are flying your plane.He landed it and then I just watched all the real pilots and wiped down my girl as if it was a 10,000 dollar high tech machine.Love the hobby and look forward to seeing that look on my kids face.

Now when you tell all your buddies about your flying they can look at you with that puzzled look as if to say "anyone can fly a toy plane"

yeah another one bites the dust!!! Welcome the the world of flying, missing work because of flying, not working while you're at work, cause your here reading the forums, thinking of nothing but "when can I get to the field again". You think you're happy now, wait until you take off and land "your girl" for the first time on your own. Your grin is gonna break your face!!

Thanks Chet for reporting your first days at the flying field. This brings back memories for all us that have been flying for a long time. It makes us relive what you are going through right now. You are helping us as much as we are helping you. Please keep reporting your experiences. You are going to experience many emotions in this hobby some good some bad. I or should I say we hope there are many more good then bad. You are embarking on a journey that has lasted a life time for many of us. I hope you journey well.
