For 2.4 GHz, stick with your manufacturer. Futaba to Futaba. Spektrum/JR to SpektrumJR. Airtronics to Airtronics. You cannot mix them. And, so far, as I know of anyway, there are no after-market receivers that are compatible with any of them.
