Default secure fuel tank, battery & receiver

Greetings,
I asked this before, but lost the responses.
I have an LT40 ARF that I bought last year.
Work got in the way, but now am about
ready.

I need to mount the tank, battery & receiver.

The manual implies you just wrap them in foam.
The battery & receiver under the fuel tank tray
in the right corner. Says nothing about physically
securing it.

What should I do.

thanks a ton.

If it is all wrapped in foam, when it is stuck between the fuselage and the fuel tank it will just stay put. If you're still worried about it, you can glue a couple 1/4 inch sticks around it to hold it.

I have also used velcro strips to hold my goodies in place. Works very well for the electronics. I wrap the kit in foam, and CA velcro strips to the fuse and the foam, press it in and it holds very well.

I would put the battery and receiver in a zip lock bag before wrapping it all in foam.

the battery and receiver in a zip lock bag before wrapping it all in foam
Or put the bag on last if you need it to slide in and out of tight spots without the foam snagging on formers, etc.
