Thanks for all the replies guys. Like I stated before I'm purchasing a pulse, and will probably buy a cessna or the cherokee very soon afterwards. I also found this 182 by China model products.

The reviews seem to be pretty good. Anyone flown this model?

For what you get for the price, that is one of the biggest ARF bargains around. It puts the more expensive models to shame.
A really beautiful plane.
There are several threads here on both the 140 and the smaller 50 sized version...
You can see pictures of both of the planes in those threads.
Note however that plane is not a lightly built arf, but an all fiberglass plane.
That makes it more loaded than what most advanced-intermediate pilots are used to.
I've flown the 140 with a 180 engine which was just about right.
It is by no means something that a beginner nor even an starting intermediate pilot should put their hands on.
A more advanced intermediate pilot can handle it though.

I've put a lot of hard work, time and PASSION into rc planes. I read an interview about a pro dirtbike racer in a rc magazine about 27 years ago. He was asked, what are a few of your hobbies. He said he liked to go fishing, camping and loved crashing rc planes ( Meaning he couldn't fly'em ), that was the trigger for me. I was always curious at how hard it must have been for him.
We usually go to the field 4 to 6 times a year at the most, some people fly much more. 75 to 80% of the flights I've made are maidens, I rarely fly the same aircraft twice. 4 rc planes is all I have ever owned, 2 never had engines. Most of my flight time is with others planes and me teaching them.
Still have the 1st and only radio I ever bought 23 years ago, a Futaba 4 channel Attack. It's a great possibility I'll do the maiden with a 50lb turbo prop Airtractor next year with the 4 channel Attack [img][/img]
TShark is right, I may crash 1 day and if I do, I want lose any sleep over it.
Thanks...

So how does that make you an expert pilot like you say?

I've shared more info than I intended, I'm moving on.

Depends what your definition of expert is. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Alaursen....have you considered strating your own build thread in the Kit Builders forum? I have 1 going there for a Tiger 60 and I am recieving tons of support and info. I ask a question and within 1 day I have at least 3 good answers. Sure helps if you are unsure about what approach to take.
