Default PT 19 Pics

All,
Well much to the dismay of my wife and good friend of mine, I got the PT 19. I still need to put the decals on it, and I want to paint the Horizontal stab yellow. The seller threw in the paint to do that as part of the deal. It was cold last night when I went to get it. I got to the guys garage before he came out. I felt the engine and it was cold. He came out and flipped on his radio, flipped it once with the choke full on, it fired and stalled, then turned the choke off, flipped it three times and on the fourth flip it fired right up and ran great!! So I handed over the money. A good friend of mine wanted me to place an order for a 47 AJ slick combo. Which I almost did, but it would've been over 400.00. I am on a budget, so I got the 19. Wife made me sign a contract that I wouldn't but any planes for at least a year, unless I sold off some of the planes in my hangar! . I will honor the contract.

Good-looking plane. You were lucky to get hold of one - the PT-19 from Great Planes was discontinued a few years ago, so you can only get them second hand now.

Hey Bill,

Great looking plane, I think I
married your wifes sister .
They both said the same thing
about another plane.

Thanks, should've listened to the DI when he said "if the Corps wanted you to have a wife, they would've issued you one"

I'm thinking that is the old original Dynaflight PT19. I had one, super flying, real friendly airframe. If I could find a cowl, I would probably duplicate the one I had (and sold!) sure miss it the last few years. I like the -Under the tree- shot. Enjoy it, I know you will.

Nah, no pellet guns at my house!! Real stuff! I hope it flies well. I thin it will do nicely. Hope to get the decals on soon, Can't bring myself to put US Army on the wings, so I had some made today that say US Marines!! I do have a Pippen 98 A-4 paint ball gun that on high velocity will leave a mark!! A BIG mark

Good signature line Momsmistake.
I like this one too "Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals".

Can do, when I get home. Friend of mine has a gerber graphics FX, vinyl decal maker. It's awesome, can make anything! Rather expensive setup, it's his business.

Thought maybe youwere training your son how to shoot a pellet gun, but then again, a person would expect a Marines son to be running around the house with a M-16, orother, hahah.

I went to a paint gun meeting with a bunch of lawyers and doctors about 18 years ago when the co2 gunswe fairly new and Youngblood was the #1 stunner. Some of the most fun I everhad.

The Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanicbuilt by professionals.I LOVE that!!

HOOAH!!!
