Hi.
Will a Thunder Tiger pro 36 still run just fine if I mount the carburetor backwards? (And of course reversing the throttleservo)
Or will this cause any problems?
Thank you

The only real problem you are going to run into is that the needle valve will now be between the prop and the muffler. This is going to make it difficult, or dangerous, to adjust the needle while the engine is running. You will be reaching in between a spinning propeller and a hot muffler to make your adjustments. This is a recipe for disaster if you ask me. However, if you can put an extension on the needle where you won't be near the muffler you should be ok.

Backwards as in upside down, or rotated 180° ?
Rotating is not a problem, apart from the issue of the needle position. Also on some engine the lower end is not symmetric but angled, in order to not touch the crank, and that will not allow for a rotation of the carb.

Hi!
Of course it will run just as good as before!
But why reverse it 180 degrees????

For this engine, the needle valve stem will end up too close to the propeller, since it has an angle.
When rotated, the stem will be pointing to the right and forward.
What about not rotating the carb and building a crank for controlling the throtle arm from the left side, if that is the reason?
