Well i finnaly did it. We were flying and my insrutctor said "here take my controller and give me the buddy box". We switced and i flew for a little bit and landed. We went again he went out with me for the takeoff. I toke off and while i was in the air he said. Im going to sit in the shade and i will come out when we need to land. He came out 8-10 minutes later and said. "Its time too land." I landed and packed up my gear said thankyou and made plans next week. I haven't had the test so i can fly by myself but i SOLOOOOD!!!

Way to go Colin!
That first solo flight is one you will always remember and get a rush from.
Once you are on your own, the key is: Practice, Practice and More Practice. This isn't to say that you can't go up and bore holes in the sky, but you do need to dedicate part of each flight to practicing a specific maneuver 5 or 6 times in that flight. This is the key to continued improvement. Also, practicing touch-and-go's is the way to really get to be an expert at landing.
Take care, keep up the good work and let us hear how it is going.
