Is epoxy safe on foam. I have the GP flight flex yak 55. It was given to me almost competly assemebled. But I had to drop the electronics in. I was going to put the motor on last night but the wooden post was to far in so I tugged it out to have enough post to mount the motor. But obviously now the wooden post is loose. Is epoxy safe to mount the wooden post back to the nose of the plane. I figured since its the motor mount it could use something alittle beefer than hot glue.
Thanks

Yeah, Epoxy is just fine for doing what you want to do. Anything in moderation, meaning, only use what you need to use to do the job. You can also use a dab of Gorilla Glue with a spray of water. Watch it, and wipe any that may seep out as it expands.
But, I have the same plane, and assembled it using both foam safe CA and 5 minute epoxy.

Thanks another qn. Are you screwed if alittle CA got into the hinge for the control surface? I was trying to glue the carbon rods and alittle bit of ca got in one of the hinges. It still will hinge but it will bind alittle. If I just keep working it will it work itself free to the point where it will hinge better? I was trying to be carefull but i just set up in my parents basement as I moved home to work an internship for 6 months. But didnt have all my supplies set up so I have no clue where my debonder was and the one thing of CA I had had glued shut so I had to poke it with a small nail made a slightly bigger hole than I wanted so it was easy to apply alittle too much CA.

Well, it all depends on where the CA falls. If it ends up on the hinges, well, they won't move very freely. Use an xacto knife to carefully scrape off what may be causing the problem. The hinge should move as freely as possible. the BEC on ESC's are limited in their power capabilities. You don't want binding anywhere.
