Printed PVC is like a giant sticker. It is difficult to work with, not very durable and you won't find much to match it for repairs. Oracover is a real, quality heat-shrink film which is sold as "Ultracoat" here in the US. You can buy matching rolls of Ultracoat if you need to make repairs. I'd avoid the PVC covered airplane.

There is doculam....it is clear but can be lightly sprayed with paints on the inside and still be ironed on.......the usual problem is that (as the name implies) it is used for covering documents and comes in like 250 foot rolls...you can check a few different forum and search them..if someone has a roll, they'll probably give you a few yards of it for shipping......Rog

Good advice to go with the oracover. Be careful with cheap arf's too, because if they are covered with a knock off covering you'll never get a repair to look right. It's a real shame to break one thing and have everybody know it until you get around to recovering the whole plane.
