Finally it arrived today. I've had my new avistar ready for a while now, my engine has been broke in, my radio all set and programmed but I was missing one piece.
The trainer cord, I have a new Futaba 6EXA which has the square plug trainer cord and finding one that was square on one end to match the 6EXA/9C plug and round on the other was a royal pain as most everyone was sold out.
So after about 2 weeks of looking it finally arrived today. So if the weather cooperates (most likely not since we have storm coming and we're already catching rain bands) I'll take her out and let the instructor have a look and hopefully put the maiden flight on her.
Been nitpicking since I had nothing else to do so I gap sealed the hinges on my plane and stuff like that the last week or so. Also made a cowl form I *might* try to enclose the front end at a later date when I get the hang of it and I try to turn it into a taildragger.
