2.4 tech question

At a user level they all work, and IF there's strong enough interference to swamp the entire band, first it would be operating illegally, second it would probably take everything down.
Just so you know, I worked on these systems (voice and data) on anti submarine warfare aircraft for years.
IF I buy the ticket with the correct sequence of numbers THEN I will never have to work again (and I'll finally have a turbine heli).
Chances are I'm going to get up for work 5 days a week for a long time to come.

Opjose, You're right, I concede my point.
I had been misthinking as you said. I didn't know that it is looking at a broad range of signals centered about the center frequency. Then it does this on two areas of the band.
Thank you for setting me straight,
Curtis

As far as I know all European countries don't drive on the wrong side or left side of the road, except for UK (United Kingdom) and Ireland. Rest of the countries drive on the right hand side of the road like here.

Maybe this is a better analogy:
First, this highway has many lanes, not just a few.
Second, there are red, blue, green, yellow and many other colored cars driving bumper-to-bumper in every lane at the speed of light, so they would appear to just be a blur.
But your receiver only ''sees'' the blue cars.

I see what your saying, I think what I was thinking is right. You added the others ( other 2.4 tx's ) into the mess, the fact that my rx is bound ( a code keeps them talking , just to each other ) and only responses to my tx ( the blue cars).
ya, I think I have a better idea what the 2.4 is doing now.
thanks

Here's the bottom line....... 950 pilots at IRCHA last year, 18 flight stations and god knows how many in the pits tinkering and in the manufacturer tents demo'ing, and I dont recall hearing any problems. If your field is going to be busier than that, then you might have cause to worry
