Default Having problems binding my DX-7

Went to the field this morning and when I was ready to do a range check I was getting nothing. No lights on the rx. Took it home and was going to rebind. When I do that I only get one flash on the rx when I turn it on. Any suggestions. I know somewhere it was posted how to bind without a three way switch.

Plug the battery into any channel. Put the bind plug into the slot on the RX where the battery plugs in. Turn on the RX, you should get blinking lights on the RX. Then hold down the bind button on the back of the TX and turn it on. The RX lights should go solid. Turn off the RX and the TX. Remove the bind plug and plug the battery back into it's slot . You must have the right model selected before you start this procedure.

I had this problem and Horizon asked me to send the system to them. The RX was defected.

Got it. I think the switch went bad. When I hooked it up direct then it started blinking and was able to bind OK.. Little plane now has new switch. Thanks for all the help.
