Float fly today and I cant figure out how to get float rudder to move with the regular rudder...
I cut foam floats and embedded a servo in the foam to move the float rudder.
I dont have a Y splitter to tie it in with the rudder. ( and no time to buy one )
Is there a way to get either the 5th 6th or 7th channel to move at the same time as the rudder?
thanks Steve

That would depend on what transmitter you have. Some transmitters will allow you to couple two channels together, one as "master" and the other one as "slave".

Yes, with the DX7 you just need to get in to the Mix menus and like the other poster said slave your channel to the rudder channel.

A a float mounted servo is is not always the best idea. A simple external cable from the water rudder bent around to the air rudder on the opposite side of the control horn that the pushrod attachs to.
Still the most simple installation and conveinent change over to wheels with nothing inside the fuse and requires only the removal of cable clamp to changeover. More importantly everything is external and makes quick adjustments at the shore a snap.
