Hello I just finished restoring a crashed Goldberg Eagle 2 model .40 nitro airplane. This is my first nitro plane, The motor was ceased on this and I am looking to buy a used, relatively low priced glow motor. Does any one have an old one not being used anymore they can help me out with for relatively cheap?

Did you ask to members of your club or local modelers?
Did you check the RCU Buy and Sell section?

Oh come on. We're not supposed to do this, but let me go ahead and do it anyway.
The classifieds are there for a reason people.

Was that for me, the OP, or the guy who should know better? If there wasn't a button labeled "Buy and Sell" at the top of every screen on this site it wouldn't be quite so bad.

Jester,
Exactly how BAD was it?? One modeler helping out a new guy, and someone has to jump all over him, because he is not in the proper forum. Again I say, "Give me a break". What is this a condo complex??

Last I checked it's not a condo complex, but I don't know everything. This is just one of my pet peeves. I've been using the internet since '94 and in that time I've stopped reading a number of forums because they got so cluttered up with threads that didn't belong. Seller and buyer postings are the ones that become the biggest problem if left unchecked, so if I care about a forum staying good I post about it when I see one. Maybe some disagree, but I believe that basic courtesy and respect are needed to make an online forum good. And fundamental to that is taking the effort to find where a post should be placed so the forums aren't cluttered with off topic junk. As easy as the Buy and Sell forum is to find, it's a pretty lazy human being that can't locate it.
Mr67Stang- You are a decent human being with a lovely ride. Kudos to you for helping out a new guy.

My apologies for exceeding the limits of your sensitivities, clawhorn. If it helps at all it's not about you. It's about the action of posting business threads in a discussion forum. Stay here for a while and you'll see the annoyance of it- guys wanting to sell and buy, guys wanting appraisals, etc. For what it's worth, I'm glad you've gotten into the hobby and have come here to learn. If I can be of some help, let me know.

That was the most heart felt apology I've ever heard, why such a whiner? This is the beginners forum, if you get annoyed that easily, I say stay out or off the forums. If the post that your crying and whinning over was out of line I'd think the mods would remove it. Why would he come to you for help after this whinning, heck you'd prbably just get annoyed at him for asking a question, or asking for a little direction,or a little help.

No sir, you did not hurt my feelings, dont flatter yourself. You offended me. There is a big difference. There is a cliche saying Iused to hear all the time that is perfect for something like this. "It is better to remain quiet and be thought of as a fool than to speak and remove all doubt."
"""A jester, joker, jokester, fool, wit-cracker, prankster or buffoon was a person employed to tell jokes and provide general entertainment"""

ClawHorn; I know one thing. I'll never offend you!
I don't want nothing to do with a "Claw" or a "Horn" coming at me!
Hope you get that Eagle 2 up in the air soon.
good luck
