Finally got to fly yesterday. Weather turned out to be perfect. I was the only one at the field so just flew my electrice Mustang. First real maiden flight for it. No trim required once I got it up. Flew beautifully. I had a blast!!!

. had about a 7-10 mph wind. It was just a good day. I also bought another plane. I've been wanting a back yard flyer, so I got a parkzone Sukhio, neat little plane and something that will even fit in the saddlebags of my harley
Brought it with me today to work, flying at lunch!! hopefully going to maiden the PT 19 tomorrow night.

Great to hear you had good weather. Saturday in York, it was too windy, but I loaded the plane up and went out anyway. No one at the field, so I didn't fly(I don't like to fly alone just in case I do something stupid like get into a prop and need someone to drive me somewhere to get medical attention). Sunday it was less windy, but it looked like it could rain at any time. But, I loaded the plane up and went out. No one at the field again...bummer. I just came home and did yard work both days. It did drizzle then on Sunday, so I didn't feel too bad about not being able to fly.

Yeah, those are the same reasons I dont like to fly alone. I feel ok with the electrics, but not the Nitro or gas models. Sunday was actually a better day weather wise. most of the guys at our field did fly saturday morning. I just couldn't make it saturday. Will fly something tomorrow night. Even if is just the electrics again. Heading for Ocean city this weekend, taking a couple of the electrics with me. Need to sell the Harleys,
, would have room in the toy hauler for planes!!![8D] Wife wouldn't care to much for that I suppose.

I got to fly this weekend as well, although any other time I wouldn't even have gone out. Flew in 15-30 mph winds. We have been trying to get a Boy Scout troop out to fly for about a month and a half but we've had to cancel on them several times. So we looked at the forecast calling for high winds straight down the runway on an otherwise decent day. So we took them out. I wound up buddy boxing about 12 flights with them. Flying was actually ok once they were up and in the air. Although I did have a few landings that has some serioius pucker factor!!! But the plane survived and we had a great day.
Even with the wind it felt great to be on the sticks again after about 3 months of no flying!!

It's about time Bill

Our club had a fun fly Saturday, we invited a pac
of Cub Scouts. Great day and food was had by all.
Hoping better weather hangs around for a while.

Yeah me too (weather) found a flying club near work. Bringing the planes in tomorrow and flying either during lunch or right after work. Leaving for the ocean wednesday. Flying the PT 19 for the first time tomorrow. Can't wait!!!
