Probably a better question for the spad forum . But I just did a spad stick with vinyl stripes.
I got a few bubbles but the idea is to smooth it on from one side using a soft cloth. Well like I said I got a few bubbles.

Spray the area first with Windex or even water with a little dish detergent and then squeege out the air bubbles with a Kleenex wrapped over a credit card.

Works with Vinyl over Monokote or with Monocote trim sheet over Monokote film.
