need suggestions for next plane.

hi, i have been flying my supercub LP and my dynam "i can fly"
i have gotten pretty good with the dynam, which is 4 ch.
im thinking of selling the supercub, and putting the money towards a new plane. well, new to me. i will likely buy a used plane.
i kinda want to try a EDF jet. but i fear that a jet may be much harder to control than the dynam. the dynam is a high wing, and glides very smooth. this makes takeoff and landing pretty easy.
i have also seen a few reviews of EDFs that show a weakness. my brushless dynam can pull out of a stall or dive really well. but it seems some EDF's dont have the trust that a prop does. however, i would also like a plane that is faster than the dynam
so, what do you suggest for a good "all around" EDF? must be under $200 new in RTF form. must be foam, electric and brushless. and i prefer lipos as well.

Well you sound as if you have the NEED FOR SPEED bug.
Try a fast foamy that can use the gear from the cub. Such as a small flying wing or delta wing.
Likely the gear will survive this plane and scratch built foamies don't cost a lot of scratch.
Free plans abound with just a bit of a search here on RCU.
The plane won't cost much and the learning will be pricless.

i have considered putting a more powerful ESC and motor in the dynam. the gear on it now is a 18amp brushless ESC, 1300kv outrunner, 3s lipo, 9x5 prop.
i tried a larger prop, but that melted part of the motor mount!
you hit the nail on the head tho, need for speed. my dynam flys really good considering it is a low cost plane($130 RTF) and i can do many tricks with it. it has also withstood my learning curve! many hard landings, one time stuck in a tree, and even hit the uprights at a football field! any damage was a quick fix with tape.
