<div>Picked this up yesterday
it's wingspan is 64" & it's 4 feet long, has retractable wheels in the wings, 1 broke off, guy says $5 fix
big 4 stroke motor, buddy says those are $400......?
I got it as payment, owed $500
someone said value could be $800-900
I would be happy to get my $500
I have never flown one of these, & don't think I should learn on this big boy, a $100-200 trainer might be better.
I'm going to put it in 4sale section, but would like to know how to describe it, radio might be a 7 channel?
pretty big to ship too, I'm in nor-cal</div>

before you list it, you might want to find out excatly which engine and servos it has, otherwise your going to get asked several times. "what motor and which servos" does it have, but you should be alright

You won't have any trouble selling the radio.
You may want to sell the radio and receiver together and part out the plane.
A 4 stroke motor can hit $200-300+ pretty quick new.
$5 to fix the motor. I guess it could depend on what's wrong with it.

Thanks for the extra pictures. Airframe is trashed, retracts twisted and broken, engine rusty on outside so probably had rust inside. You were taken advantage of if you really got this for a $500 debt. The airframe has little value to anyone who sees all the pictures. The engine needs taken apart and examined. The radio most likely is ok but needs examined to be sure. Even if parted out there is no way you can get $500 unless you intend to take advantage of someone. Take it back and get your $500 or part it out for a couple hundred. Just my honest assessment of the photos you sent me.

great
only rust on motor are the steel bolts that are not painted.
no idea what you see on airframe to say trashed, I would like to know. please share.
retracts are copper tube, look like they bend easy, & one broke off & gone, so I assume he crashed it & they bent one, broke other, bend it back???

Pics I received showed left side of fuse damaged , the cowl appears damaged, bent and broken gear, rust on bolts, indicative of rust possibly inside the engine (have to take the engine apart to see for sure) . that's whats visible in the pics I was sent. If the pictures are inaccurate then maybe there were unwanted reflections or other issues with the pics but that is what they looked like to me. The pictures posted here now are not as bad and it appears the fuselage has a reflection between the numbers and the insignia so my assessment of the fuse may be wrong but it appeared damaged in the copies I got. Additionally not all the pics that were sent to me are posted here. Clearly the plane had a very hard landing or was crashed as the OP states in Post 14. Good luck with your sale .

I took another 20 pics
only odd thing on finish is the blue looks to be a decal covering, not paint & has lots of bubble streaks when it was aplied, or gases escaped & formed.
anyone wants them let me know

I posted my phone number in your for sale add. I am in Lincoln and interested in your plane. I have another just like it with a YS 110 and for some reason I would like another in case I scatter the first one. I work nights and I am guessing you work days, so perhaps this weekend would be the best time for me to come and look at what you got.
Thanks
Mark

I went and bought the plane and having it, my honest assessment is Darren offered me an excellent deal. The airframe is great, the motor is either new or has only been ran a few times. The radio did not power up, but probably only needs a good charging. Everything in the plane looks like it has maybe one flight on it. The flight that tweaked the landing gears. Over all everything is an easy fix and all I have to say is thank you Darren and I wish I had more time to chat with you about some of the other things you do, but I had to get home and get to work. Thanks again.
