Plug-in crystals are not considered modules and must not be accessible to the user.
Which is part of the regulation for the design of the radio, not its use. Radios with the crystal on the front are clealy not in compliance with this regulation.

I have a FMA co pilot - all ya have to do is get a crystal from LHS from" Hitec duel" on the same channal as one in the transmitter and good to go - forget all this blaa blaa and git it done - no hi teck stuff involved - just make sure the transmitter has the crystal the same as the sticker number on it, if not get checked or adjusted to your crystal , that is first thing to do as none here or anywhere can help ya when ya have mismached transmitter and crystal set up

READ the FMA manual or contact them and get stright skinney and have it done with

OK shoot me down all ya want but my info is stright from the MFG of FMA personely by phone when I set mine up

Im flying with a At6x Futaba radio and FMAcopilotand all systems work on Sr Kadet used for a RCSkydiving drop plane
