RE: HAY DON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let see if I can get the spelling on this one, you know how designers like to change things. It's a 2meter Aeriel, Aerial pattern plane from the 80s. Fiberglass fuse and sheeted foam wings and stab. This plane was campaigned in the late 80s and built by a fellow from Boulder as I recall?? We have a hobby shop over by the strip called Nice Twice that has a whole back room of nothing but ARFs, Kits and used planes of all sizes. A friend bought this plane there and when he moved he gave it to me. It flew very well when my friend had it, I have had engine problems from day one so I haven't flown it sense I got it, taken it out several times though just to get it dirty. Don fixed my engine for me so tomorrow is going to be my maiden day with it. Been in the back of my shop for a while just collecting dust.

That didn't take long, the old beast went back together really fast, all ready for tomorrow. The three blade gave me the clearence I was looking for too. I will let you know how the 120 pulls it and how it likes being inverted.

Gene, what prop were you flying? What kind of RPM's When I had it and my Surpass IIon the test stand, a 16x8 was tomuch, Iflew my Surpass II with a 16x6 and it was a huge improvement. I think a 15x6 would really open the engine up. My best tach was with a 15x8 at 8900. I think you would gain another grand with the 15x6 I don't know how to compair your three blade to these though.
Glad to hear you had a good morning.
You remember the problem I had with the diaphragm on the carb on my Surpass II? I'm a little slow, but I think the same material I used in your pump will be a good choice for the Briggs and Stratton fix I'm now flying when it starts to brake down, if it starts to break down
